CE U21: Romania, dramatic defeat by Ukraine – Minimal chances for qualifying in the quarters

The Romanian under-21 national team did not manage to get a positive result at the European Championship even in the second match. The team trained by Emil Sandoi lost the match against Ukraine U21 (1-0) and has minimal chances to qualify for the quarterfinals of the tournament.

The team coached by Emil Săndoi lost at the Steaua stadium against Ukraine U21, following a match that the guests controlled.

Both formations wasted great chances to score, but the two goalkeepers stood out with decisive and spectacular interventions.

The Ukrainians even hit the bar, but they took the lead in the 89th minute when Dican restarted in his own goal.
